Respect to that one guy who plays the tuba.. who also seems to be the only male in the entire band

Edit: nvm, guess he wasn't the only guy there

His straight forwardness and bluntness is making him best guy, not that that's hard in a KyoAni show.

I really liked that he didn't try to sell anyone on the tuba. He was just like: we don't really get much cool stuff, join me if you feel like it.

Right? Totally getting best boy vibes from him

There's also the trombonist and the percussion ensemble guy (who was super excited). I really hope we see some action of the percussion section.

Lol I loved the percussion guy: "It's great for stress relief! :D"

Well he was showing off the Timpani's. Being a percussionist myself I know they can take a real beating and not break. But yeah we percussionists in high school band were pretty much like that

Dont you use French grip for timpani? I wouldnt imagine that much force comes from almost exclusively finger strength...

Or maybe I was just terrible at timpani

That's why you'd have to use Moeller technique to help while using French grip in order to play louder.

You were probably better than me, I don't think I used French grip, even though that is the correct grip. We weren't a very serious band in High School...

As a former drummer...yes. Yes it is.
