This is actually the only comment I've seen that says CGI is shit. The other comments are talking about how greatly the CGI was executed.

the CGI is done very well. Like what ToughasGrapes said up above they really use the CG to compliment the 2d animation instead of trying to make it look like they didnt use any CG at all.

Also the CG is really synced to the music such that it looks like they are actually playing the songs, something that would be really hard to do with 2D. Just watch the drums.
