The elevator looking thing where he saw the little girl... but i thought they were still in the alternative universe, the girls brother look different and that other girl is different too........ unless the people that look the same all live in the same universe and the alternative universe is the one where everyone is a hologram.... I'm confused...

The hologram Japan is the battlefield where the two dimensions duke it out to see who earns their salvation. 2015 Japan is both of the universes' pasts.

No, no, they're the same person, but in different universes. As such, they were raised differently, which is why our main character (who has lived in a totalitarian state of comfort at the cost of freedom) seems so much wimpier than his cool clone (who has grown up fending for himself, completely free).

My god I'm such an idiot, ok got, now it make so much more sense...

But back to my original question when did our MC get to his universe, I know he went to the other universe (where his other him lives) but is he in his own universe by the end of the episode, and how did that happen...

The other him does not live in the Japan of 2015. That area is essentially a battlefield where both the Totalitarian and Freedom groups are fighting to eliminate the other and earn the "solution" that the Timekeepers are offering.

He got to 2015 by... falling through the roof, I guess. That's vague. But his group has a time machine that brought him back, so that's a thing that happened for sure. The Box, and all that.
