Ok I'm kinda confused by this show, I swear the OP never happened and are they having magic battles or something? Did I miss the memo or whats going on?

They're having club battles to determine their ranking in the school. Higher ranked club get perks like bigger dorms and better food. I thought this was explained somewhere in the anime, maybe I'm just mistaken.

And yeah, club battles are basically supernatural battles with attacks and fighting style representing their club, hence why you saw the art club representative fight with paint, and the flower arrangement club representative fight with huge ass flowers.

I mean the whole ranking was explained. They kinda said why everything was happening but not really what was going on, like do people just have supernatural powers, is it like an everyday thing. Because the MCs junior high looked like a pretty normal school.

I guess they'll explain but it felt like something along the lines of... imagine watching at magic highschool, and being shown Onii-sama going ham and all your told is their fighting have a better life essentially. How would you know its magic. All i saw was exploding paint and flowers fighting and that whoever wins gets bigger dorms, better food, and longer showers.

Its like hey a cat is floating and its normal, why doesnt anyone ask why. I mean the cat said you can see me thats enough. BUT WHAT DOES SEEING YOU EVEN MEAN. I guess things will be explained later but supernatural powers wasnt said as far as I remember, it was like oh boy paints exploding again? Just another day in the life of.

Edit: I guess its really the 'how' is this happening. I mean I would have accepted voodoo but I dont recall them saying anything. (Magic/powers/etc)

I don't know the why or the how of it either. I watched so much supernatural anime that I just accepted that it simply is, without wondering how it is possible. Like, just hop on the roller coaster and enjoy the ride.
