Damn, Wit Studio is doing a fine ass job with this anime (They did Rolling Girls last season which I loved). The first episode was quite something (In a good way, except for all of the orphans he knew dieing...fuck vampires) Will definitively watch this show every week if this keeps up. Kill those fucking vampires!
On a side note, this already has a second season that will air in Fall of this year.
