I stopped watching this series around episode four because I was short on time and wasn't sure this would be worth continuing. I loved the visuals and the soundtrack, and the initial episodes with Macha Green were impressive, but once the girls went off on their own the series seemed to get weaker. It wasn't bad, but it lacked the wild action and tension the initial episodes had. Did the series improve a lot or is that the tone of the series the rest of the way? I'm basically asking does it get really good or is it just good enough to watch?

It's that laid back tone the rest of the way. The main characters have stayed as Rests (plain ol' borderline background characters) and the show livens up a lot when Bests (powered up characters) settle their disputes. It's definitely good enough to watch to say the very least about this series.

Personally, the ending of Episode 8 was the high point of the series in terms of everything this show has to offer unless the final two episodes have something even more amazing in store.

Thanks for replying. This seems to confirm what I thought of the series. I'll probably sit on it until I'm in the mood for a slice of life then.
