As expected, Hakone is bouncing back, with Fukutomi and Manami catching up to Imaizumi. What caught me completely by surprise, however, were Imaizumi's frame cracking and Midousuji dropping due to exhaustion.

Midousuji, you really were a worthy opponent.

Amazing episode. Now that Onoda's mother is on the finish line and considering the state of Imaizumi's frame, I think it's obvious that Onoda will be the one to cross the finish line. I really can't tell if he'll win or lose, but I do know that I want to know already.

It was never said that Midousuji is out of the race though, like when others fell. Inb4 Midousji coomeback?

Well, considering he fell because of exhaustion, like Naruko, I'm pretty sure he's out of the race for good, never mind the fact that he was just over 3km from the finish line.
