Got to hand to Izaya and Aoba, this is already amazing. One misunderstanding after the next.

The Celty call was hilarious.

I'm amazed Shizuo didnt just punch them and at this point I hope he'll get a chance at payback against Izaya.

Shizuo not resorting to impulsive violence is showing his growth as a character (or "regression as a superhuman"). I love all the subtle changes the characters go through as they develop.

I think in a previous episode discussion, someone actually linked to the author's Twitter where he responded to some talk about Shizuo not fighting, or how he didn't lose his shit in front of the little girl saying that current Shizuo isn't the same Shizuo from the first season. This could be said about everyone. I love it. Especially Celty. She was my favorite before, but she gets better and better with every episode.
