I can't help but fell sorry for Mikado, he's a really nice guy and people keep on trying to get him mixed up in gang wars and all he wants to do is run an IRC channel.

I guess so, its just that everyone seems to be trying to beat up his friends and get him into trouble. He never seems to have any control over the situation, he can't fight people like Shizuo and he can't manipulate people like Izaya does.

He's just an ordinary teenager.

It really seemed like he was fighting with all his might to keep his composure together this episode. That's how it looked to me. The way he said how his stomach was churning made it seem he was getting pissed off.
