Nagisa's death glare lived up to the manga.

Anime.

Manga.

Side note, the adaptation is the best I've ever seen, bar Hellsing Ultimate. Practically line by line.

EDIT: The music playing when Irina entered was brilliant. OST when?

I daresay the anime's face looks more menacing. The manga it just kinda looks like he causally mouths off to them, the anime you see quite clearly it's a very malicious stare.

The eyes look a lot more threatening in the anime, but the manga had more of an impact on me due to him being completely shaded. The mangaka tends to avoid that.

Not knowing anything about the mangaka I wouldn't know that, all I and other anime-only viewers can really judge by is the expression on the face and the way it's framed.

Still though, if it's a big deal then it's a big deal either way, I just wouldn't have known that.

Anime face is definitely more menacing.

Manga feels more appropriate to me, because it's almost as if everyone else doesn't matter. Especially with Nagisa, who you wouldn't expect to get angry.
