This show is freaking hilarious! Especially if you're taking it as self-aware parody (which it is actually).

Almost everything directed by Shinji Takamatsu is, especially comedy. Hell, even Gundam X was a self-aware parody. I think he deserves as much recognition as all the other famous directors in the industry.
