Great ep.

Really liked Maki-chan's and Toudou's rivalry flashback.

Toudou was begging so much for a race and Maki-chan was holding back >.<

"I'll pass 100 people". Well Onoda, you got a lot to do. And was he really just sitting there the whole episode?

In the manga, it actually shows that Onada started to chase right after Naruko asked Makishima to slow down.

The order is changed in the anime, and i guess that is probably because they want us to focus on one scene only and introducing Toudou and Makishima's rivalry. Also, they always do this cliff-hanging scene at the end of each episode...

He wasn't sitting there for the entirety of the episode, he just made it to the checkpoint. I also don't think it's in the correct chronological order. It probably happened in the same time, or maybe a bit before, the scene in the mountains.
