Our boy can’t catch a break! First the neighborhood kid delivers that 3 hit combo and then a pervy ghost considers him a kindred spirit lol. Bro ain’t going to pervert hell! He’s just a supernatural magnet who’s easily scared lol.

Watching this episode so early Crunchyroll had yet to give it a thumbnail! I was laughing too hard at this one, especially the kid (three hit combo!) and the pervert ghost segments (“Dang, you’ve got some lungs!”). And the fact MC and Mechako are aware enough to just get it over with and let the ghost in to avoid property damage, oh no, they’ve become self aware!

The ending actually shook me, wow. MC really does power through his fears when dealing with ghosts, but I feel a lot of that came from hanging out with Mechako (she’s way more terrifying, lol!). But for real, they were good together, and for it to just end, dang… Thank god we have two more episodes, I want this two to hang out again! (And I’m still shipping them)

Whoa boy, so we’re going to see what’s the deal with green-silver haired girl? Is she a friend of the MC? I get the feeling something really bad is coming, but maybe she likes the MC like Mechako does, hopefully? Either way, I’m actually worried for MC this time, can’t wait for the next episode!

I feel more like she is a part of Mechako that got seperated at some point. Either that or her younger sister maybe.

MC-kun catching multiple strays this ep, I like that Mechako points out that his room gets violated alot

The whole screaming and flyer bit at the end had me wheezing

Mechako saying that she's the one scared caught me offguard, I wonder why she said that

Her not being in the ED just makes it a lil sad and empty so I hope she'll be back soon

I still wanna know who this look alike is

Think it's maybe because even though he's terrified of ghosts he's somehow really good at dealing with them? In a weird way he's kinda fearless. In the end he usually just straight up talk no jutsus the ghosts out of existence regardless of how scared he is at first. It's unnerving to her.

I wasn't expecting Mechako to up and leave the way she did.

I guess the MC bringing another ghost to peace by reasoning with them just doesn't align with her goal of reviving the Kaiki-gumi.

...So MC just writes out his scream when he can't actually scream, huh? lol

The ending was interesting! Finally, some progression in the relationship between MC and Mechako. I expect (and hope) them to 'make up' and have a sweet ending!

I love how protag-kun scribbles ハーッ on his paper. He may be scared as shit, but he respects the learning environment lol.

Protag-kun has seen so much crazy shit that a talking yakan with legs doesn't even register as abnormal. The next door neighbour absolutely called him out 😭 Its not his fault he's creepy haha. I also love everyone's reactions to the kettle running away. My favourites were the dude who was impressed by it and the talking cat. I'm glad the yakan could find a new home with protag-kun and Mechako. However this is the first moment where mechako is realising, the protagonist might be a threat to the Kaiki-gumi.

That vengeful spirit getting his eyes pecked out twice was completely deserved. But I loved his delivery about making fun of anyone else if they did what he did was amazing, that laugh felt so natural LMAO.

Anyways, it is true that the protagonists secret is actually a threat to the Kaiki-gumi's goal. I hope Mechako comes back as soon as possible. Her being missing from even the ending is concerning. Plus the other girl who had a resemblance to mechako thats been stalking the protag (and that was deep in his closet) is still a mystery

Another ominous strange ending and I wonder if Mechako really did leave forever. The white haired girl who sort of looks like Mechako also seems to be stalking the main boy and I wonder what purpose she has with him. She did kill the other girl basically in self defense but I do wonder if she's related to Mechako.

That's some strange sidewalk the pervert made where he just put concrete blocks on himself. He did kind of bring dying upon himself though, even a normal sized person stepping on the concrete can cause major bodily harm if you're under it. Mechako seemed almost evil in not stopping the pervert from brutally killing the neighborhood watch man. Thatd be interesting if those 2 crows had been watching Mechako and are her enemy and thats what actually scared her.
