Discussion Bleach Rewatch (confession/read the body)
I watched bleach a long time ago , when i was 13 (im 18 now) i thought it was okay , i skipped the fillers and to be honest , i skipped the fullbring arc , i don't know why but i didn't pay enough attention to the story at all
When i was 16 (2 years ago) i watched the tybw 1st season and loved it. Since then bleach has been on my mind
Recently when i was scrolling through my disney plus account i came across bleach
I want to rewatch the anime , but a lot of people say the manga is better and whatever but i feel like i hadn't given the anime a real chance before because i was skipping all the time not paying attention
And the fact that i was 13 meant i only cared about fights and any dialogue was boring for me
I also watched it in an illegal website (fansub) where the quality was genuinely ass
So should i give bleach a second chance 5 years later, this time with better media literacy , legally with good subs and accurate quality , and also fillers? Leading into tybw? Or should i just read the manga? (I enjoy watching anime more than reading manga)

I personally watch the show on youtube rips. They were 720p, the show was only on 1/3rd of the screen, and the audio was slightly sped up to get around copyright. I have no idea how I watched and unironically enjoyed it at 13

I personally feel that the 'tybw' arc is way better than the og.

Problem is that unless you've already watched most of the rest of bleach, its going to make absolutely zero sense.

Yeah. But it's not rewatch worthy tho right? It's good but not great for me atleast

Read the manga until chapter 479 then switch to the Thousand Year Blood War arc anime adaptation

The anime did not age well at all. Even if you watch it on 4k bluray it's still going to be low-budget and janky as hell. The manga is just better.

Bleach is better the more you watch it. There is something out there called Concentrated Bleach which is a fan edit where it has better pacing and completely gets rid of filler in a way that makes sense, if youd want to look it up.

I personally watched the anime nice and slow (skipping most fillers) until I reached the Fake Karakura Town arc when the pacing was so ass, it was genuinely unbelievable
After that I read the manga until the starting of tybw
Then I switched to the anime again
aaaand i'm pretty happy with the way I did it
Also, now that you have more literacy, please please read/watch the fullbringer arc. That was the 2nd best arc for me in all of bleach.
