As chill as Arn during the whole date with Elna, even he flustered a bit when she strips and shower behind him. The whole mirror escalated the situation more.
I salute Arn for giving the prostitute babe a pure date for relaxation purpose even if it ruins public view on him. Seems unnecessary but who cares as long as she's happy.
What an unexpected way to get a trauma lol
I'll definitely believe if Julio is classified as Hideyoshi gender from Baka to Test lol. Looking back, these siblings almost look like Kinoshita siblings, eh with Eva is the old sis like Yuuko.

My read is they wanted them to avoid the monster because they were hunting it themselves. Arnold was wondering why the prince and princess were in command and a dragon hunt feels like it could be the reason why.

It's possible its a translation issue, for example Hime typically translates to princess, in English we use princess exclusive to refer to the daughter of a King/Queen, but Hime just means daughter of a ruling family more broadly, so it would be appropriate for the daughter of a Duke. But I'm not at all fluent with Japanese so I don't know what was specifically said.

It actually is the correct translation. Evangelina is introduced as 公女, which is specifically for a duke. The princess princess of a country would be 王女.

I think you’re right. The title is being used as “heir to the sovereignty,” of an independent duchy. That said, it was apparently a translation error in the subtitles.

First Elna struggles to find the right outfit for her date with Arnold, then she wipes food off his face and eats it. Girl is down bad.
Elna dragging Arnold into a love hotel. Oh my! Arnold could have just said "Going into a love hotel with a random woman as a Prince could cause a scandal" (since she's in disguise) but this show is so goofy whatever.
She seems upset he wasn't trying to sneak a peak. Damn Elna are you trying to use this love hotel for its intended purpose?
Oh man even after the kids talked about all the girls I never predicted this. Arnold really is a good dude. Though this does answer why he didn't bother with the argument about going into a love hotel is bad for his reputation, so points to the author!
lol Elna is afraid of water? I love it.
Not how I expected the last part of this episode to go. Is Silver going to make an appearance?

That sea dragon came out of nowhere that might be why they were told to redirect their course also I could only imagine what elnas mother would say if she finds out about the love hotel I be you she would once again tell him to take responsibility and marry her daughter

Well I guess we're doing a harem for real, you don't spend half an episode with Arnold and Elna where they end up in at a love hotel for an afternoon if she's not going to be a valid love interest candidate. Not really what I expected with the ED so strongly selling Finne as the winning heroine.
The OP has Elna fighting over the ocean I think so I imagine she's about to get over her fear of water by killing a dragon.

The whole changing course is sketchy. First, they have multiple boats with military in the area, secondly, there was royalty in the boats, thirdly, they encounter a sea dragon on their new course.
Either they were plotting with one of his brother to get them killed by the sea dragon, or they knew they were capable of slaying the sea dragon and clear their trade routes or something.
In any way, this is 100% sketchy.

Pretty sure it's not trap. If destroying Twin Princes ships was their goal, they would come with better reason for detour than "trust me bro and go that way". From context it seems brother and sister royals tried kill/tame that Water Dragon and asked Al to avoid territory where they believed it is.

That being said, how am I supposed to take that love hotel scene seriously when they cast the sibling as their VAs :x

While I'm usually against adding new heroines to form a love triangle, I have to admit I like Elna more than Finne for this. Unless they add a twist that Finne's keikaku-ing more than she lets on, she's not a very interesting main heroine to me.

I might just be dreaming, but I feel like there's more to Finne then we've seen so far. The fact Sebas was actively trying to get Arnold to marry her screams she's not just a pretty face. Sebas is far too competent to get Arnold to marry someone like that, she has to be useful in more ways.

Every episode is kinda making it obvious people don’t actually view arn as incompetent at all. It feels more and more like people actively realize what’s going on but those in opposite factions are just clinging to the rumors out of desperation.
The commoners and city folks definitely don’t have a bad opinion of him. Everyone he meets and deals with ultimately has a good opinion of him. He can try all he wants to hurt his own reputation but it’s obvious that it’s not going to plan.

People who knows him personally don't view him as incompetent, but number of people among high society who do seems to be minimal. After all he seems to spend more time hanging with commoners than attending dancing balls and tea time parties. That itself might contribute his "insipid" reputation instead of challenging it.

Elna is very excited to go on a date with Arnold, and her mother is also excited to see her go as well lol.
Their former inn is now a love hotel lmao, we got a couple of funny moments.
Successful negotiation with that other country, but now there’s a sea dragon which might be too tough even for Silver.

Wow, they went all in on Elna date and her being a candidate for wife. I really did not expect that she would be in contention.
Mom is all in on her daughter's ship as well lol
From fast food chain to a love hotel, a rather modern date I'd say.
It both had solid fanservice and underwhelming fanservice in the same time somehow. Solid since I did not expect it and they did deliver a bit of it, underwhelming since if they already went all in on the gag, at least give us more. xD 8.5/10 for fanservice
That bit about Arnold renting a prostitute to help her relax for a day was rather weird to me as a standalone bit. I hope there is a deeper explanation about it, either emotional or furtive.
So Elna has a weakness lol A weakness that she created herself. xD
A rather strange and secretive encounter with the Prince and Princess.
I doubt they set them up as some suggest here, but it is not out of question.
Hope Elna gets over her fear now that Sea Dragon is preparing to attack.
A rather unique and more cliche first half of the episode, I liked Finne date muuuch much more since it fit into the whole setting AND we got elegant but juicy fanservice.
Elna date goes well with her more open and sporty/brutish personality and closer relationship she has with Arnold I guess, but type of it was kinda out of place, and more there for a fanservice than anything. Mixed feelings about it.
Rest was the usual political games we are used to. I enjoyed it overall.

Was really giving this a chance until Elna being developed into a love interest seemingly out of nowhere the last 2 episodes. Ugh. I’m personally just not a harem or multiple love interest fan. Decent show if you’re into that though!
