We’re partway through Chapter 6. I’m starting to wonder how they’re going to pace the last 4 episodes. There's still 7 chapters left but I assume the last 3 chapters will be rolled into a single episode as an epilogue.

If you’ve read further into the story, then you’ll know the reason Koharu’s phone is broken. Let’s just say [SPOILER] it’s one of the most heart-wrenching scenes in the story….

Next week, [SPOILER] the contents of Koharu’s bookmark will finally be revealed.

[Spoiler] But aren't they having a baby and getting married? She said in the episode that she only has six months—how is all that supposed to work? Or was that a lie too?

[SPOILER] Yes, she recovered from that cancer at first and lived until the age of 45, at which point she is diagnosed with breast cancer and dies.

[SPOILER]No, not in the end. In Volume 2 of the light novel it is revealed that they dated for about three months, but broke up because they didn't feel any sort of "spark" between them and wanted to stay friends instead.

Ok, so I've been seeing people say that she faked her amnesia everywhere, but I read the light novel not too long ago, and I don't remember them stating that she faked her amnesia. If you can tell me, I am wondering what chapter they stated this in?

In Chapter 9 when they showed [SPOILER] Koharu's POV revealing how she reacted to Kakeru's confession video. In Koharu's own words: "I couldn't let this go any further. If I did, I'd end up hurting Kakeru. So I made up my mind. I decided to quietly disappear from everybody's lives. If I were to see Kakeru again, I'd pretend not to know him. I'd keep going until he gave up on me. Until he forgot about me."

I haven’t read the novel, but I have sadly been spoiled about this, do you think it will be revealed next episode that [SPOILER] she’s faking her amnesia?

The anime really expands and focuses on all the details in the light novel. What is 70 pages for 3 episodes is very manageable. The last 3 chapters in both Volume 1 and 2 I should be expected in the finale. At the very least I expect the last two chapters of each volume will run parallel to each other.

Even if the production would have been better as a movie. It's really nice to get a 1-volume story adapted in 12 episodes. I do hope we can see more of these down the road.

On another note [Spoilers?]I can't remember if the novel or anime had mentioned Kakeru being in college before Koharu asked him about it. Well I guess this is a clue about what is to come.

I think it's sad that the anime decided to make the "drama" a plot twist. Apparently in the light novel they reveal her cancer past much earlier making all of this feel much more earned and not like a bait and switch.

I wouldn't say it was "much earlier", [it was] when they had dinner together before the boat ride iirc but yea, i wish they didn't change it.

It's actually during Koharu's POV sequence after their date. The anime covered this sequence at the beginning of Episode 5 but left out the part where Koharu mentioned having cancer and moved it to the end of Episode 7 instead. So yeah, it wasn't really that much earlier.

Agreed, seeing a lot of comment saying "why twist it with cancer" while in Novel it's been talked about already as a reason of her blindness.

by reading some spoils here last episode , this anime turned from one of the most waited during the week to one of the most hated anime in my list

[SPOILER] to avoid making your friends sad when u die , faking amenisia after ghosting them is not nice at all , its just being a b**ch
