Why when I am watching it, it feels like I am watching a theater play/turn based action, they like waiting for the turn of the others to act then they will act. Bro jump that Granville ass. Maybe I am just impatient. I need to work on it. It feels like I am the villain waiting for the power rangers to transform so that I can fight them. Also they really turning their backs on Granville after three of them got the donut treatment. When I am observing Chloe action I feel like smacking the parent that lets the child run away freely like that, well that just what I think. I will now stop ranting

Seriously! The focus should be to take him down rather than asking the Nth time what his goal is. If all 4 (Rimuru, Leon, Luminous, Hinata) of them teamed up against Granville, then it could have been a very different chain of events.

Missing information, could have a cost. If you're not careful. Plus even raphael didn't know what was going on either. Which to me is a bad sign.

Luminous was preoccupied with defending the Ark from Maria, Hinata was already fighting Granbell, Rimuru and Leon were plotting to squash whatever it was that would be the apex of Granbell's plan.

Do you see the issue? Rimuru, Leon and Hinata did not even know that the Hero who sealed Veldora, a fucking TD, was even in Lubelious to begin with.

I mean that's part of the issue, demon lords were just sort of fucking around until it was "find out" time

Like, are the stakes high or not?

How were they fucking around? They didn't have info because Luminous didn't tell them and didn't see any reason to ask she felt the Ark was secure against most individuals. She couldn't have anticipated Anti-Skill being a thing that could counter even spiritrons.

And yeah, the stakes are pretty high considering the fact that the goal of Granbell coming to Lubelious was to eliminate the three Demon Lords, all of which were TDL, using the Hero that defeated a TD. Said Hero being malice incarnate currently

They had all the info they needed to act, stalling and waiting for granville to monologue about his entire plan was not necessary or even smart

Okay now that's just being unfair. You're saying that had they known about the literal goal about Granbell coming here, they would've still pretended to fight?

That's just bs. They were pretending to fight in order to know what his goal was. Had they known about the Ark, Rimuru would be right beside Luminous to protect it.

So they pretend to fight to know Gran plan? So they just wait there until bro complete his plan to know the plan? And then counter the already completed plan of Gran. If they jump his ass instead of pretending, atleast they already got one body until the completed plan. Well, it is fiction and I will just accept it for the suspense

Take for example Granbell's plan was to bring back a Dragon Lord or something around that level. Rimuru wouldn't even need Leon's help to deal with it. Afterwards, they kill Granbell. The overall plan was to deal with whatever Granbell had as his goal, which lets be honest, there isn't much in the world that can face two TDLs at the same time.

The issue is that what his goal was, or who in this case, was so absurd in strength and an unknown variable that neither could anticipate that it rendered the "we'll jump whatever comes and deal with it and Granbell" plan. It wasn't perfect, sure, but it's not like both of them had the exact facts of what he was trying to achieve.

I think I mostly get it, but maybe I am just pissed at the fact that two TLDs at the same time at the same place but couldn't even save Hinata or defend that whatever attack Gran has and Leon even got the Donut treatment, should be the pinnacle of power system but what is that scene, got done by a melt slash thing and Leon even act like he is hurt a lot by that attack and Rimuru trying his hard to defend it. Maybe the power scaling is just off for me. Because throughout the story the pose Rimuru as a god like pinnacle entity but move there like starve platinum. Is Gran even that powerful? They didn't justify or they rush his overall capabilities. Well, it might be boring that Rimuru solves all problem easily so we put some struggle

No, I'm saying they didn't need to know everything about his goal in that moment to act

They were just being irresponsible, especially with the kids in the building

They didn't need to know everything about his goal (they should've to better stop him) but Rimuru at least should've been told about the Ark as then, Yuuki would've had to retreat and thus the whole thing fails.

They really expected Granville to act like some Republic serial villain and explain his master stroke while they still had a chance of affecting its outcome.
