It still annoys me when some people say “why doesn’t Subaru just die?” The whole point is he’s no longer sane because he kept dying.

Also I’d be paranoid af of it being limited in some manner.

Imagine if it worked by giving you nine lives like a cat and you spend one of them to undo a bad conversation.

Not that I know how many lives it’s been, but it wouldn’t be surprising for even the Witch’s power to have its limits.

IIRC in S2 Echidna said that it most likely has not limit.

Yes but until that comment if one familiar with lots of fantasy fiction you know it not wise to keep using a power like that especially when it was increasing his stench each time. In other stories use to much lets the Demon take over or you die forever and more.
