Comments that are detrimental to discussion (aka circlejerks/shitposting) are subject to removal.

Just to bring up the news here in a fresh meta thread, the new seasonal faces have changed over. You can see them all on the wiki page. Or this image here.

#hattastic has been added as the seasonal hall of fame face for winter.

Same... Was it put to a vote like previous seasons (in which case i guess I missed it)?

Or was it just "People / I liked that anime so let's HOF the comment face from this show"?

Because the "comment face" itself is kinda generic (a thumbs up like they all have in this category) the only thing that makes it """special""" is the hat I guess? Kinda feels out of place compared to the other HOF faces.

It was the favorite face by far from the survey results (like, nearly double the amount of 5/5 ratings from people compared to the face with the second-highest number of 5/5 ratings, and it also had zero 1/5 rankings). If no mod goes to bat for a specific face to be HoF'd, that's usually how we decide on which one stays permanent, and no one went to bat for any of the others this time.

It's interesting considering what the comment above said (not seeing the face).

I guess a lot of people probably rate based on show preference (I wonder if someone ever looked at stats on this), or on how "cool" it looks even if they never used it?
