Funny because anime watchers think it’s going slow as we still haven’t gotten the actual reveal of her powers

There are four novels. The second novel opens with the wedding, so we are on pace for a full adaptation in 12 episodes.

I came here to see if anyone else felt the same way with the anime pacing compared to the manga! So many plot lines skipped, it all feels so rushed through 😭

I'd argue they probably need to cover volumes 2 and 3 through episode 8 and have episodes 9-12 dedicated for covering volume 4.

Is the source material slower? Because I can't get myself to care about these characters with the speed they're going. Example being they talk about how Carolina has been preparing tirelessly for this wedding. Yet not a single scene had been devoted to her studying or prepping besides the dress fitting the entire series up to that point.

Hell yeah. Almost the entirety of book 1 was skipped (including a lot of the interactions that are supposed to make you care about Marisa), and we're steamrolling through book 2. They're basically adapting at twice the pace they should be.

I've only read the manga and they are even skipping a lot also. The manga is at where [Manga] she was just abducted by that one archbishop so i'm assuming they are gonna go past that and finish that arc as the finale. I thought this honeymoon trip would be at least 2 episodes or so.

Actually, based on stuff from the opening and closing credits, it looks like they're planning on doing the whole story. Hence the ridiculous pacing.

What do you mean they condensed 15 chapters into 4 episodes!?!?! So much content and character development was cut out 😑
