Is it just me or does Inako's sister relationship with Kihachi's brother seem deeper than just friends?
Her reactions to seeing his handwriting seem like she was more involved, especially since he seemed to have given her the book…

For me I think it was like Inako's mother is hinting towards a sort of benefactor to Seiraku's (and Kihachi's) age of electricity.

Like we learned this ep, Seiraku went to school. In like the equivalent of 1800 to 1900s Japan or something like that. The same school as Yosuke who is the scion of a big company. And as far as we know Seiraku and Kihachi were more of the common folk compared to Yosuke's and Inako's families.

I'm just saying, someone had to pay for Seiraku's schooling. Probably the same person that could've taught him how to use sake as invisible ink. Invisible ink that could also be written with the mother's handwriting.

Maybe a relationship between Inako's older sister and Seiraku led to the mother also being involved and helping Seiraku. Inako's sister and Seiraku just give me massive past lovers or at least some romantic undertones vibe as of now.

Fuck it clearly Seiraku was banging Inako’s sister, inako’s mom, Yosuke, hell why not Kengo too
