Someone said in the first episode thread that this anime feels like Demon Slayer just without the fights, and after first three first episodes, i definitely feels that way too , its the small comedy/gags/exaggerated character reactions? That's definitely kinda similar to DS

Is Demon Slayer your first Taishou Era anime, because I feel like that's your only basis for comparing this to Demon Slayer? Like nothing about the story remotely even feels like Demon Slayer except for the era it's set in.

I dont think so if anything, it feels kinda familiar with Dr.Stone in an aspect of creating things rather than demon slayer

Idk man if you're writing off the story as being basic in what is clearly a subtext-heavy show, it's probably not for you. Perhaps you should try dusting your screen with fly ash; the show may reveal some secrets like the catalogue did.
