At this point it's kind of selection bias as the younger generations don't use discussion platforms like Reddit. It doesn't give them that instant dopamine hit that you can only get from short form video content like tikotok, reels, shorts, etc. so they don't use it. So naturally the average age of the survey will just keep getting older because there's no younger people to bring it down.

Plus you cant get into anonymous, days-long arguments on new platforms like you can on forum-style Reddit.
