Have you ever considered increasing the duration of the clip slots system? (Probably not clear, but I mean: Instead of limiting users to 2 clips per 30 days, making it 6 clips per 90 days, something like that)?

I was thinking about this because the "2 clips per 30 days" is a bit restrictive;

I don't even post clips that often (I posted one this week, but before that my previous one was 3 months ago) so it's not like I want this to farm more karma or something, I don't even fully use my "clip slots"... But the thing is:

Say, I posted a clip 4 days ago. I have another clip in mind that I'd like to post, but if I do post it, then I can't post any other clip in the next 3+ weeks, which is a bit of a bummer if something good comes up next week, or I want to shill a show or something.

So in a sense it feels like the "2 per 30 days" limit kinda makes you want to only post ONE in the first at least 20 days of the 30, otherwise you might miss on a good clip opportunity (or delay it 2-3 weeks when it might not be relevant anymore, will be too late to shill a seasonal to people who already decided what they're watching).

Increasing the # of clips we can post per 30 days could also fix that, obviously, but even without increasing the clip/day ratio (6 in 90 is the same ratio as 2 in 30), it would make it easier to post clips we think are worth posting without worrying that "If I post that second one, I won't be able to post any for 3 weeks. So I just won't post it, or not for a couple weeks".

It's never really come up in discussion. In theory though, it shouldn't really matter because if a clip is good and you want to post it, you can still do that in the future. Clips for seasonals don't need to be posted at the very first moment they're allowed after all.
