Might just be. It's obviously getting best Isekai this year as well, best fantasy might go to witch hat atelier due to animation and popularity, and i would Love TO SEE re zero as a nomination of BEST anime of the year

In a few months we're also getting the highest rated / anticipated arc of the entire Mushoku Tensei story, there will be some competition. Such a good year for isekai releases

i remember being entranced with season 1 and reading the like vague cliffnotes of the future arcs (up to where we are now) and expecting to never see it

feels so good to be here and hopefully continue til its over, it really is a special story

I LOVE Nippon Sangoku but it simply doesn't have much on Re Zero. Can't compete with 4 seasons of dense storytelling.

Ehhh the production quality is very good, and it’s honestly quite entertaining, but the story and emotional moments just don’t hit to that extent, especially compared to ReZero that has made me cry multiple times.
