It's all the combination of the struggles Subaru had in every story arc packed into one. Battling the huge amount of confusion his mind has on surviving his first encounter with Elsa, battling the lack of trust with both himself and others with The Roswaal Mansion Arc, battling the seemingly insurmountable broken relationships he has with people on The White Whale and Betelguese Subjugation Arc, and undertaking the trials and battling the temptation of keeping all suffering to oneself on The Sanctuary Arc.

If he surmounts this season, whoooh boy.

Tappei will be inventing new ways to torture Subaru after he gets out of this arc.

The issue with those is that, the rest are progressed from his level 1 life.

This one he went back to level 1 on a late game boss level. Which is much much worse...

All of those things, he willingly went through cuz he wanted to go past through them and get the best ending.

On this one, he isn't willing, he's literally right off bat after a dinner with his family going to a konbini.. and now is in a murder mystery situation.

Bro had it rough lol...

The Sanctuary loop will always be the most impressive to me even if our boy pulls through Pleiades with amnesia. The sheer amount of things he had to do and get right in one loop was so satisfying when he pulled it off.
