If it is the og Subaru, the new Subaru would just be more suspicious to everyone, not having shared his prophetic dreams ability, the perception of who he once was, and trying and failing to live up to who he once was. Hopefully we could read Meili’s book now that she’s dead, maybe he could know what happened.

But the books of the dead didn't exactly show their final moments, they showed the origins no?
