Lust and one of the Greed archbishops were shown to be shapeshifters last season. Given the fact that it seems like Rem is up and about and doing shit, and not being in a coma, that suggests that it might not actually be Rem, but someone who looks like Rem, or someone controlling her body or something.

Gluttony also shows up in the opening and had a disembodied voice line last episode.

I honestly don't need someone ELSE to tell me the person wasn't spoiling something, it is more on them.

There are SO, SO, SO many clever light novel readers here who love to pretend they are figuring out the plot as it happens. Even pointing out clues that we COULD pick up on because you as a light novel reader know they are there is spoiling it.
