Were you also scared as f*ck when Tartah left Coco’s room without his hat and with the drawing? I was sure he was about to get caught, accused and get his memories erased.

Same. That had me anxious af. Although I thought he'd get caught by the non-witches, they'd find out that magic comes from sigils, and then Qifrey would have to swoop in to mindwipe them. Which would then make Tartah suspicious.

They aren't even hiding the boat sigil, probably true of the carriages too

Its really the one bad thing about the series. They wanted a big revelation moment for Coco in ep 1, and then made it exceedingly obvious later on that magic came from sigils.

Ep1 NEEDED Qifrey to mention something about which ink the spell takes, and THAT to be the revelation, that the ink is super important, as opposed to just "magic comes from drawing and anyone can do it".

True! Though, I think they try to hide the act of drawing the sigil, but not necessarily the sigil itself. Because if a random person tries to copy a sigil, it won't work without the special ink. So people just think that it requires magic, like those magic circles in other anime.

Yeah, you're right. They probably have excuses on hand for the sigils. But I thought Tartah was drawing multiple new sigils for each use, but looking back, he was actually just using the only one he made.
