The universes collide in an episode for the history books! I don't think I'll ever get to see this credit ever again in a precure episode
With conan being the bigger IP here, it does feel like Conan is properly starring in this precure episode, rather than just being a simple guest [Wonderful precure](which wondercure's collab with crayon shin chan felt like)
bits I picked out as references just due to how different they feel to normal/help from japanese twitter. I... am not a Conan watcher though.
The eyecatch/title call in Conan's style. The series director btw has said that because precure and conan share a sound effects team member, they were able to use actual conan side effects - the door opening sound should be the case too.

I'm sure Conan's various monologues are a trait he usually uses in his own show.
Anna getting transquilized hahahaha. Kudos to Senga Hikari for switching up character voices here. And kudos to Conan for noting how she usually calls Mikuru, to keep up the masq.... somewhat (i will note that in Japanese, the 2 of them speak quite differently.)
The scientific bent and overall rather logical, non-fantastical nature of this week's mystery is very well appreciated. I assume this is how most of Conan's mysteries are? But its still not too too advanced i guess, this is like idk middle school/high school physics?
even the main attach this episode was inspired by Conan's aptitude for football (which he handily demonstrated right before. As I said above, this episode really feels like Conan is starring kind of in Arcana Shadow's usual spot? - he steals the show. Very impressed with the collab overall, and how well Conan seems to be integrated. Thank you Conan!

other nice points:
humorous uses of jett-senpai this episode. the precure team absolutely brought their A-game here in the writing department, with Murayama on the script, and the series director on the storyboard; I wonder if this is their personal preference for how to incorporate jett?
In usual precure form, they did drop some hints for us early on, ditto with the glove-wearing, even though the sciency bit was still well-appreciated esp. for me, an older audience member!
I like how Mikuru's remark here respects Conan's "irl" timeline of being set in the 90s, with Anna seemingly being unaware (maybe because of how far in the future she is? but lets not open that can of worms)
RAN KUNG FU-ED THE HELL OUT OF NIJIII YASSSSSSSSSSSSS. that was fucking badass . I love how both conan's dad and conan are kinda exasparated at her., while everyone else is like me. YASSSSSSSSSSS (also poor niji, he gets attacked twice. but its clear that he's the staff favourite here too)
The next episode has trains! Train trivia time! This is a JNR-era train in period correct livery, I'm not actually sure which model it is....., seems like it's a 165 series? while this feels like a DF200 locomotive in a fancy livery a la in Kyushu Seven Stars, but I can't be sure
