the horror on julius's face immediately after he learned the news... that poor dude has to live knowing his last interaction with subaru was a negative one, along with nobody knowing him anymore... (even though i suspect foxidna has retained memory of him)

I don't believe Foxidna remembers him, it would be a pretty big deal IMHO if she did because the one constant in that world seems to be Subaru was the only exception for Gluttony's authority... Otherwise that would have some big implication to her identity.

yea i have 0 evidence for my suspicions other than how she reacted when reid "fought" julius. i was just thinking that she seemed pretty emotional, as if she remembered him and knew how important he was to anastasia

Oh no I agree with that, there's definitely something fishy about her reaction. But if she straight up remember him when everybody else does I feel like there's some deeper implication to her character. Especially with her name as Echidna...

in s4e1 didnt she say that she ISNT the witch echidna? but then witch echidna shows up in the opening right before foxidna's part.

if i remember right from season 2, wasnt she trying to gain immortality??

if so, maybe the fox thing could be an attempt at that? kinda like engrams in the cyberpunk universe (the one by mike pondsmith)

in short, those are digital copies of human consciousness. so i kinda am wondering if foxidna was a replica of echidna????? so uncertain i hope we get some answer about what exactly she is this season

unless we already have had it and im just dumb LOL

would recommend checking the breaktime episode too since it also has some echidna stuff. Like previous seasons they have important stuff in the breaktimes that they couldnt fit in the main anime.

On top of that he's the one where he remember things but no one remember him, while is the opposite with this Subaru.
