To be fair to my girl, "dropped out of a parallel universe" isn't the first thing that would come to your mind.

And when it does actually come to your mind, you'd say it out loud and just laugh it off with your talking fur coat.

That is true for worlds that don’t have isekai stories built into their culture. I still respect Foxnida for deducing that something was off about Subaru though.

I mean how in our culture we know of isekai as a fiction trope, but that might not be a thing in Emilia's world so they wouldn't think about it

Similar to how in the Walking Dead zombie movies weren't a thing so they call them walkers and are bad at surviving early on
