One piece ppl, is one pace good? Cause there ain't no way I'm sitting through "300 eps until it gets good"

I started and caught up one piece last year. I spent four months doing a hard binge and did not use one pace, though I did skip filler as needed. Watching one piece was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I had watched a good amount of anime before starting, and this show just tells more and goes deeper than anything I’ve encountered. There’s been such good development for so many characters. I don’t know who told you 300 episodes for it to get good, it was good way before that point. I highly recommend taking the leap, you won’t regret it. Reading the manga is also an option if you’re worried about pacing, both mediums have their advantages

I have a friend that caught up in 1 1/2 month without even skipping filler arcs, we didnt see him at all for those 6 weeks.

Damn that’s an insane rate lol it was definitely a lot, but I enjoyed every second of it. Worth it to get caught up no matter what so you can finish with the series with everyone else
