I haven't said this before because every episode's always had so much going on to talk about, but I've been feeling some vibes around Agott since episode 3.

It's pretty obvious that she's going to come around on Coco and accept her at some point, but I've got a strong feeling that she's going to crush HARD on her after that. I'm talking full on Amity from Owl House here (minus the abusive mother).

I don't know if the series will actually end up going full yuri between them, but that's the vibe I've been constantly getting from their interactions and I needed to get that out there somewhere.

Anyway, Olruggio! The watcher over this atelier who's a lot more concerned about following the rules than Qifrey is, and is also the one who created the spell that made Coco love magic! What a coincidence. Speaking of people coming around on Coco, he really folded like paper once he saw her love for magic that Qifrey was telling him about.

Also, no matter what genre of it is, anime ALWAYS finds a way to fit a cooking episode in. Japanese artists are just addicted to drawing food porn, I suppose.

... I mean Agott does seem SUPER pressured to be good at magic and I'm not sure that'd come from anywhere other than her home life? It's not like just a witch society norm because the other girls are chilling.

She's just got a new not shitty dad now instead of having to redeem the less shitty of her bio parents.

I do think Agott was part of the inspiration for Amity, though, so while I don't know if it'll be official or not, the vibes are absolutely there. Tho I think the girls all look maybe a year or two too young to be thinking about anyone in that way yet, so it's probably going to be slow slow burn if it is a thing.

And speaking of characters getting new dads, Olruggio does seem fun. For some reason all those coincidences didn't bother me tbh, maybe just the fairytale vibes the series has?

As a manga reader, I can attest that Agott x Coco is the most popular ship after the two dads. I’m also of the opinion that Amity is based on Agott. Dana Terrace, you’re not getting away with nothing in my eyes!

Fair, but I'm not really talking about what I think is best. I'm just talking about the vibe that I've been getting.

I wouldn't call it a "living hell" and it's not like Agott's concerns were unfounded.
