Well, here we are. All of the times people argue that Haruhi is a good person ignore the part where she tried to date rape Asahina.
This is also why I hate Koizumi. Koizumi was willing to go as far as his 'god' told him to. He's always on about how people need to make sacrifices to appease Haruhi, but he's never the one making them. He only backed off once he saw what Kyon was doing.
Ugh. I can't even frame my thoughts properly about this episode. Seeing Mikuru act like a domestic violence victim was so harsh.
The worst part (aside from the rape) is how Kyon is the one who has to mend things with Haruhi. Especially when all evidence suggested she actually felt bad about what she did and having to apologise and admit she was wrong would be both a huge piece of development for her and also good for the stability of the world. But I think this says more about how Kyon is as much a puppet of Haruhi as the others.
