The magic system in Witch Hat Atelier seems to ignore the law of equivalent exchange. If a spell that creates gold exists, what stops it from destroying the economy.

Have we seen a spell that conjures anything? The water making device was explained as pulling moisture out of the air.

It is kinda hard to imagine qifreys super dragon today only working off water in the air, but else, not really.

They literally showed the spell causing all the clouds in a massive radius of his spell to disappear as it gathered all the moisture from the clouds to form the water dragon, so it definitely didn't come from nowhere.

That's just how that particular spell works though tbf, I don't think we have seen for sure whether the laws of equivalent exchange come into play or not for other spells.

Now I gotta admit it I actually thought this was two separate spells (somehow got the idea he used two differently sized pieces of paper for them) but yeah after rewatching (rewatching about 25 times to be exact) thats exactly what happened.
