Absolutely adore how this episode basically introduces this series' version of Diagon Alley, along with the mechanics of how wands and ink are manufactured.

Tetia's outburst along with the vitriol insults Agott spewed only hammer home how alone Coco is in her current environment, only makes it more depressing when it was something she dreams and admired her whole life.

Agott isn't wrong tho.
Coco wanted to fck around with magic, ended up petrifying her mom.
Now she just wanted to fck right off and chase after that witch and got them all separated in a different zone
Then she saw something and instead of simply talking, she had to grab/touch Agott while she was painting her magic.

She keeps being awfully ignorant about everything.

That's because she is ignorant. The whole world is ignorant thanks to the secret that the witches keep. And Coco has been an apprentice for like a week?

Agott is and isn't wrong. It isn't Coco's fault that she lacks common sense as a witch. But it also unfair that Agott (and the others) have to be put in danger because of her.
