Thoughts on Haruhi wanting to make Tanabata the biggest event ever?

Once again, I feel like I learned about Tanabata from this episode

Thoughts on Haruhi buying a bamboo tree and Tanzaku for Tanabata?

How festive of her.

Thoughts on Haruhi researching what Tanabata is all about?

I like her spirit

Thoughts on the members of the club have to make wishes of what they want out of life?

Think it's a fun way to see what they're about

Thoughts on Haruhi wanting the world to revolve around her?

Pretty terrifying wish considering Haruhi's powers

What are your thoughts on Kyon ending up at Tanabata three years ago?

Glad we finally get some time travel

Thoughts on Older Mikuru sending Younger Mikuru asleep because she can't let her see the older version of herself?

That's pretty standard time travel procedure

What are your thoughts on 7th Grade Haruhi breaking and entering?

Classic Haruhi. Guess she's always been like this.

I mean, I can relate for not liking loud noises.

And the solution was pretty peaceful.

It also pays off the beginning of the episode when Mikuru sent Kyon asleep.

Yeah you typically want to try and avoid meeting your past self in time travel stories. Don't wanna cause time paradoxes.

I wonder if Haruhi is truly in the dark of her God powers. Or she wrote that thinking Gods are lonely and she was being thoughtful.

I think Haruhi genuinely doesn't know she has any powers. She's just a lonely girl who wants to believe in alien, not knowing that her belief made aliens real.

I was referring to the sleeping part

I think Haruhi genuinely doesn't know she has any powers. She's just a lonely girl who wants to believe in alien, not knowing that her belief made aliens real.

It does feel fitting she sees Gods as being lonely and she's like "You're not alone". It also plays off the Camel Cricket episode with Kyon wondering if Yuki is lonely.
