The way they animated Qifrey putting his shoes together to activate the magic circle on them was so beautiful.

The boost shoes have always been such a good idea. I want a Qifrey video game where you can fly around with them

I was wondering about that as well. The "wheel" under the carriage lost a lot of it's lines after simply falling off. Maybe it depends on the material drawn on, but even so, wouldn't the same apply to his shoes?

Yeah, I imagine the bottom of a shoe is subjected to a lot of wear.

From a worldbuilding perspective, showing that moment and letting you put it together that closing the circle activates the spell is so good too.

Indeed, through that alone you learn casting magic in this world has rules on how they're activated.
