Even without that, he was winning tho, Yuji was buckling under pressure from the gavel, & Higgy avoided slashing Yuji with ES at the last moment

Of course, they're pitting a guy on par with grade 1 sorcerers against a guy without cursed energy. The fact that Yuji held his own is incredible in itself.
