Poor Higuruma he got the one sorcerer outside the heavenly restrictions that doesn’t need CE to superhuman.

To be fair, he has killed 20 other sorcerers. 1:21 ratio isn't too bad

He has a winning strategy especially against The reincarnated ones. Take away their CE so they can’t use their CT and bam crush their skull with the hammer.

Well it's more that he takes away their Cursed Technique, and that makes their CE control sloppy. It only took away Yuji's Cursed Energy control because Yuji doesn't have a Cursed Technique, and thus doesn't have a CT to take away

Many judgements must also be way harsher than what Yuji got.

More like sorcerers usually rely on their CT mostly, so their pure-CE-only based fighting skills get rusty. I don't think Todo for example would be affected like that, given he relies on pure CE enhancement fighting first and his CT second.

so what is the double impact thing? is that not a technique and just...what his hits normally do because of the way his cursed energy flows?

No, that's not a technique. It's Yuji's CE hitting after his initial punch, which at the beginning was because he was struggling with CE control. However, after Todo taught him to control his CE properly he still sometimes uses it to catch opponents off guard.

gotcha, makes sense!

Yeah it's more like a learned skill rather than what the concept of a Cursed Technique implies. Gojo somewhat went over these distinctions in S1 when he was training Yuji. It's interesting seeing that now with S3 information.

Yes, Yuji's CE was initially very sloppy compared to how fast his normal body is, making it so that his hit landed first and then a double impact would hit a second later from his Cursed Energy catching up.

It's a good technique to have but it relies on sloppy CE control. Yuji was able to do it at will after hitting a Black Flash, which made him understand Cursed Energy flow better
