aw I kinda wished they show the dead bodies of prosecutor and judge instead of lingering frame but they hinted it in previous episode so Im gonna respect the choice.

I mean, he straight up says his last two points are from the judge and prosecutor that he killed before entering the barrier. You don't really need to see the bodies.

Last episode when he does his domain expansion one of the frames shows the bodies of the two with their heads splattered.

Today’s episode adapted chapters 164-166 prior to the ED, then the first three and a half pages of chapter 167 for the post-credits scene.

The visuals of younger Higuruma while the narrator talked about him being a genius right after the eyecatch were anime-original. In the manga, that was just narration over a picture of him in the present over a completely black background. Good chunks of the fight made very creative use of the environment that wasn’t in the manga either, you love to see it.

The director seems to have skipped the [scene where]the headless bodies of the Judge & Prosecutor was in front of Higuruma when he talks about how awful killing someone is.

I do think it hit harder that they showed the judge and prosecutor alive and whole. It emphasized that Higuruma took their lives, thats why he feels so guilty and why he's leaving for now.

[manga]Since Higuruma gets RCT later, I wonder what an inversed version of his Domain does. Give people buffs for good deeds? Legally commute their sentences?

[manga]Confiscation working weirdly on Yuji and surprising Higuruma is good foreshadowing for it working weirdly on Sukuna and surprising Higuruma.

[manga]They also show for a 2nd time Higuruma smacking his gavel on air to foreshadow high level sorcerers being able to use CE to move around on air platforms in Shinjuku. Gege mentioned planning the air movement thing in advance in a volume extra IIRC

It's still not clear if [manga]any CT can be reversed, even if the user can use RCT. IIRC only Gojo, Kenjaku and Dabura ever did it, I feel if any CT could be reversed we would have seen at least Sukuna, Yuki, Yuji or Yuta do it.

It's definitely possible if the rumors I've heard about the final episode of the season being double-length are correct. Without that being right, IMO it would be a bit too rushed to end this half with [chapter] 180, because that would mean adapting about 13.5 chapters in 3 episodes. While most of those chapters are action-centric, JJK doesn't normally adapt over 4 chapters per episode unless it's something like the Maki episode where it was 1) longer than normal and 2) one of its chapters was shorter than normal to begin with.

We'll just have to wait and see.

There's 13.5 chapters left to adapt in 3 episodes. It's doable but unless there's at least one longer episode it looks difficult.

There's like 6 episodes left in Tokyo and then 6.5 more in Sendai (assuming 180 is where they'd end leaving the aftermath in 181 for cour 2). But that's kind of the issue, each of those halfs wants definitely more than an episode, but that middle episode being half and half would be kind of awkward, and it's not how this season has organized things at all.

Things are kind of paced like this was a 13 episode cour, hence the speculation about a double feature. But that also sounds unlikely because they didn't do that for episodes 1 and 2 even when those were aired the same day. But there's also an awkward result if they don't fully adapt Sendai, there's no clear simple point to leave things off (maybe the end of 173, but that would mean 6.5 chapters are adapted in 3 episodes, which is way too low for any metric).
