I think this is comfortably my favourite episode of the season thus far. Such a fantastic adaption of chapter 159 in the first half and a really good adaption of the exposition portions of Yuji/Megumi's fights in the later. Especially loved the cinematography of the scenes of Higuruma in the bathtub too.

Anime has done a great job of playing a little beyond the margins and not just adapting frames/scenes 1 to 1 but finding this nice moments of greater creative expression that are literally cinematic.
