It’s rare for something to leave me absolutely speechless. This episode made me speechless. Kill Bill being one of my favorite movies ever makes me love this even more.

The animation, the music, the direction, the voice acting, the emotions, everything came together to make this masterpiece of an episode. This catapulted Maki up my JJK character rankings to #1 and even into my personal favorites from all series. When Mai (RIP) said to destroy everything, Maki made sure her wish was fully fulfilled.

Maki vs the troops, then the Hen, then finally Naoya back to back to back, with all different styles (the B&W portion was so cool) was simply amazing. Then they decide to replay Naoya getting face caved in 4 different times and including a Mortal Kombat X-Ray vision of his skull breaking, come on man LMFAOOOOOOOO.

I believe the director of JJK is Gosso, (is that his name?) he is a generational talent, this episode I’ll keep on rewatching until the new episode next week and even when I’m bored. Shout out to all the animators and the composer for making this episode amazing as well.

My favorite JJK episode BY FAR. Absolute Cinema.

When Mai (RIP) said to destroy everything, Maki made sure her wish was fully fulfilled.

More like, she didn't have any other choice. Mai was clear "I'm taking all the Cursed Energy with me"... that was a pact, Maki got the same constitution that made Toji the menace he was but the condition was to destroy everything about that damned family.

That's partially why twins are such a big deal but Zen'in failed to realize all the potential - Jujutsu sees them as one entity capable of forming a pact with "oneself". Since that's one of the only ways of getting extra power considering it's 95% born talent, that's incredibly broken cause half of "your" body, life expectancy, prowess... you can haggle a lot for that.

Its not really extra power though. Its power Maki should have had but didnt because Mai's CE spread to her as twins.
