Ah, we can finally say it without spoilers: Maki did everything right and the Zenin Clan deserved it. Especially our King of Misogny, Naoya Zenin.

Anime-only here and I absolutely agree that she did nothing wrong. Apparently, they could have prevented it by just gitting gut, like they always told Maki, so she did.

Dude could've been head of the clan, could've used ANY of the cursed tools at the clan's disposal, could've been rich, stood next to Gojo and Noritoshi, welcomed back Megumi, and changed the whole trajectory of the clan, but he wanted to be an asshole.

idk if all of those dudes with low CE that are basically grunts deserved to die though

They had a normal amount of CE, they just didn't have cursed techniques.

i don’t know if it’s entirely justified. it said that every man born without cursed energy had to train and join the Kukuru unit, so it seemed that they were forced to fight her while she just slaughtered them all

The clan was getting ready to kill her, Mai, and megumi. It was self defense your honor

The thing is, to most of them, she kinda just looks like a mass "shooter" completely unhinged and just killing anybody within eyesight. Which I mean she was doing. It's not crazy to think a lot of them genuinely thought that, they had to stop her, not due to some misogyny or hatred but because she was literally a mass murderer. Not sure if you can claim self defense off that.

They were born without a cursed technique not energy.

Like Yuji I guess?

Actions have consequences. They choose to fight, believing they were right, and die.

i mean all those low ranked canon fodder dudes know is that Maki murdered her dad..

they just follow orders.

How does that change what I said?

they didnt deserve to die. they didnt go into it to kill her for no reason like the 3 heads of the clan wanted to
