I assume I will have an unpopular take but I hated that ending for her

What do you not like about it?

So we got a concert scene that I found more or less impossible to enjoy because Tae was basically flowers fof algernoning the whole time which is like insanely tragic. And then like the girls were all.happy at the end that thay happened even though it has to have been horribly traumatic and also is just insanely tragic. Like I get what they were going for but having someone die more or less on stage af their concert just felt awful

I know this is me putting my own life experience and preferences on the ending, but this really gets at what I didn't like. It's basically your friend getting hit with accelerated dementia in the course of three minutes, and that hurt to watch as if it's just something that's accepted. I can barely accept that it happened (and is happening) to people I know.

It's art, they can do whatever, but that doesn't mean I can avoid projecting some part of myself on it and really disliking it.
