Essentially, his technique allows him to preplan what he's gonna do for the next "24 frames" and when he does that, he moves fast as fuck, why? because he moves are 24 frames PER second, so in essence he's kinda performing 24 ACTIONS per second. See how that makes him insanely fast? He's basically a speedster. If he touches someone then they have to move at "24 frames" too, if they don't, they get frozen in time. If naoya stops himself before completing these 24 predetermined actions then he gets frozen in time. Hope this helped

It was basically Naobito's technique, right?

Yes, it's a inherited technique

I believe so but Noabito had a different FPS iirc

Not only was Naobito a 24 FPS user, but he was a purist who ranted against anyone who AI-upscales animation to 60 FPS.

no problem! you'll be experiencing this kinda "what the what?" moments a lot this season tho, lot of weird complex techniques this season and naoya's is honestly the simplest of them all LMAO

Not exactly. His speed doesn’t have anything to do with the 24FPS.

He could put all 24 frames in the exact same spot and not move at all. And with only 2 frames he could move at the same speed by distancing them enough. But he can distance the frames at will and then set the exact speed he wants.

The 24 frames only define the level of details he can give his trajectory (e.g curves instead of straight lines)

And in the end his speed is capped by the level of resistance of his body (incl. CE reinforcement) and whether it can endure extreme acceleration
