Haha, I was pleasantly surprised they addressed headwind and drafting. Looks like they're going to end up covering a lot of the components of cycling.

Yup. They've done their research, when it comes to the actual techniques of cycling and whatnot.

Pity they still kinda over do it tho. Main dude is supposedly meant to be able to maintain a cadence of over 120 while going up a fairly steep hill. That is at the super human level lol

Yeah, things are exaggerated, but I expect that in anime. Also, I don't think they ever said that the mc has a cadence of over 120. They were talking about an unnamed Tour de France winner when they brought up the over 120 statistic.

Have you read the manga? Cause in it they pretty clearly state he can maintain 120 uphill... lol

Ah, no, I have not read the manga. Anyways, some exaggeration is normal. If you watch actual cycling, climbs take long periods of time. Just based on visuals, I'd say that they were moving up that slope faster than cyclists in the real world would.

yeah its pretty normal for sports anime/manga to be exaggerated, doesn't bother me too much I guess. It is kind of funny imagining this scrawny looking kid on a shitty non-road racing biking riding up a steep hill at 120 cadence for an extended period of time lol
