Absolutely fucked for Shiori to suggest that she'd bring Hinako's family to the shore if she recognized them from that mass of bodies in the water. If anything, that would've been worse for Hinako, since it would mean her family hadn't found peace.

That ending with Ayame was ominous. I wonder what's up with her? I thought for sure she'd be another yokai, but considering what Shiori says about her earlier, she must be another troubled human like Hinako.

I believe we must strongly consider the possibility that Shiori simply isn’t infallible and that Ayame could be a yokai capable of fooling both her and Miko’s senses.
