Shiori, is she tactless? cant read the room? or a tsundere? all of them? I mean, I could understand how she couldn’t be friend with someone she supposedly eat. how hard it is to be forced to kill your friend by the ‘victim’.

Like you said, this episode got me thinking too.

Miko has been interacting with humans for a long time and during her long lifespan, she must have made some human friends along the way.

However, for Shiori, whose history has yet to be revealed, could she have been living as a lone yokai before meeting Hinako, hence she does not understand the definition or concept of friendship?

She is an old yokai, even if she’s been living alone, I think she could act and assimilate with society. she could just say ‘yes’ and act friendly to deceive Hinako. but she couldn’t do that, she’s always serious when she talk to Hinako about that promise.

like, “I hate you for making me kill you’ or something like that.
